A tablesaw is the life blood of any woodworking shop, so picking a good one is vital to the workflow. All of my life, I have worked with Sawstop and have loved the security of knowing that it a mess up were to happen. That being said, I know that when I get enough space and start to buy my own shop tools, I will most likely not be able to make the investment into a sawstop and will need to purchase a jobsite saw instead. While this does come without the Sawstop technology, there is still the same level of focus required when operating a tool that can cause a massive injury so quickly. As the article says, Dewalt makes a great jobsite saw, which would be my first choice in place of a Sawstop. I already use the Dewalt universe, and because a personal saw would not require hours at a time of use, it can be great to run off of batteries. I do like the other choices like Bosch and Skilsaw, both of which are also great choices as the article says.
