48 Regional Awards Programs to Participate in 14th Annual Jimmy Awards
www.broadwayworld.com: The Broadway League Foundation has announced 48 participating Regional Awards Programs for the 14th annual Jimmy Awards which will take place on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 7:30pm at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre.

Participating in my regional theatre awards was something that drastically altered my theatre career, and I am forever grateful to have been nominated and have won a few in high school. Not only did the possibility of being nominated for one of these regional awards motivate me to work even harder in my positions, but they also were an extremely rewarding achievement once everything was accomplished and the show was closed. One of my fondest memories at the Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts Applause Awards, (my regional competition,) was this past year when I was interviewed in front of the live audience that filled thousands of seats. This was a super unique experience for me, and was something I will never forget. As a technician/manager, there are not many opportunities to get awarded for our work, so this was a really special experience. That being said, there is no moving on to any further awards for managers and technicians, which would be a really interesting idea.
