Person of interest: Karla Boos of Quantum Theatre
Post Gazette: Karla Boos is the Bedouin of Pittsburgh's live theater scene. As founder and artistic director of the 22-year-old Quantum Theatre, she unpacks her metaphorical tent in nontraditional settings all over town -- basements, museums, abandoned industrial settings, parks, ravines.

I clicked on this hoping to learn more about the founder of Quantum Theatre and discovered that she likes to ride her bike and is passionate about making art. Since environmental theater is the most attractive form of performance to me, I've been stalking this company all year but have never been able to make a show. I'd like to know more about the founder, actually, and would also like to know more about the show that is about to go up. The website doesn't really describe "Electric Baby," beyond this short comment: "The Baby is fragile yet powerful. His tale of urban folklore connects his Romanian mother and his Nigerian father with colorful Americans in Pittsburgh, PA." Huh. More information, please! This is a very cool company and I'd love to understand more about what they do. Wouldn't it be interesting to connect with them and put up a show in the warehouse?
