Having been the the Oregon Shakespeare Festival many many times before, I would be extremely interested in seeing this production. From the snippet given within the article, I think that the overall story of the show is fascinating. Now while I don't know the specifics of the play, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival has always had an amazing eye for creating beautiful and meaningful sets. It would also be fascinating to see the work of a Tony Award winning director. While often times the subtle aspects of directing go right past me, I would love to see the conventions used by someone who has intensive merit.
Marry Zimmerman’s metamorphoses is my time favorite play and Arabian Nights is pretty high up there as well I love her fascination with myths and legends and she turns them into wonderful performances. Living in California I have been to the organ Shakespeare festival before and I have always wanted to return. The fact that this show is performing there gives me even more desire to go. I would love to she a show directed by marry Zimmerman.
