Jen Childs steps on comedy's toes in solo show
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: After years of helping others develop their solo performances, Jen Childs finally decided it was her turn.A founder and the artistic director of the 12-year-old 1812 Productions theater company in Philadelphia, Childs has invested her company's and her own energy in supporting the creation and performance of single-artist shows through the company's Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program.

It is really great that Jen Childs is able to put on a piece of her own after working on some many pieces for others to perform. Putting together a solo show about her own life in a comedic setting is a credit to her as a writer, a performer, and in this piece she has devised, as a dancer. I hope it is well received since this is the accumulation of Childs' work.
