7 Stupid Thinking Errors You Probably Make

lifehack.org: "The brain isn’t a flawless piece of machinery. Although it is powerful and comes in an easy to carry container, it has it’s weaknesses. A field in psychology which studies these errors, known as biases. Although you can’t upgrade your mental hardware, noticing these biases can clue you into possible mistakes."

Bias is a problem. It often can often hinder one's chances of being trusted. It is very hard, especially when we are writing research papers to find articles not soaked in bias, or to not include our own bias in the process.

This should be like the tagline for the OSWALD, seriously though. Bias always gets in the way of making a subjective decisions. But it really tells about the way you were raised and taught. So, it's not always bad, because it is another form of way of thinking. But if it starts to be in the way for some reason, something has to be done to prevent more problems.

I feel like this article should be printed out and given to heads of departments. Especially the part that goes "Studies have shown that people tend to grossly overestimate their abilities and characteristics from where they should." It would be interesting to see how people in the drama dept fit into this scale. Specifically in terms of organization to prevent all nighters, and budgeting shows.
