Stage Review: 'Scissorhands' as 'dansical' searches for own identity
Post Gazette: "Anyone who expected the 'Edward Scissorhands' film to be closely translated to the stage at the Benedum Center over the weekend most likely came away sorely disappointed."

It seems like too much was changed to really keep the interest of the movie's fans. I know I was put off by the idea of the adaptation. Maybe there are some things that shouldn't be made into musicals.
