Applause all round for record London theater year

Reuters.com: "London theatres, boosted by a string of hit musicals, enjoyed a record year in 2006 with ticket sales breaking the 400 million pound ($780 million) mark for the first time, according to figures released on Monday."

this is good to see because if theatre is thriving over seas we can look for the trend to continue on our side of the ocean...exactly what we need in this completely emotion-void world...sometimes we need a theatrical reality check or at least a release from the events of daily life...hopefully we will be just as well off at the end of this upcoming year..
