Theater Hall of Fame honors August Wilson, seven others
Post Gazette: "To open the 36th annual induction ceremonies of the Theater Hall of Fame, emcee Phylicia Rashad bent over the podium and said, prayerfully, 'This is not an awards night, thank you Lord. We don't need another one of those.'"

I had no idea that August Wilson and Wendy Wasserstein had yet to be inducted into the hall of fame. With their extensive repertoire, I thought it they would have already been in by now. Makes you wonder though. What exactly does it take to win these sorts of life time achievement awards? Is there a real structure, of do you just have to kick ass from the day you are born? There are so many amazing people who have yet to be recognized….It seems there just aren’t enough “halls”
