Making a play for seduction
TheStar.com: "If the Muppets dropped acid and then paid a visit to sex therapist Dr. Sue Johanson, maybe they'd start to resemble the wonderfully nubile creations of Cabaret U-Mano."

I always worry about shows with non-human characters. Although there is more opportunity to explore risque themes (because they aren't "real people"), there is potential for the show to cross the line in terms of derogatory actions and speech and not be called on it. It's much harder judge what is offensive or crude when the audience is distracted by felt dolls and their puppeteers.
another example of the expansion of the abstract theatre world...once again as with avenue q...theatre goers will go not knowing what to expect...i guess expect the unexpected...exactly as varsenik said...we can get away with more than with human actors...nothing is as obtrusive because its not real...we are much less likley to offend...here comes the new generation of theatre...ever growing...
