Draft Standards For Fire Curtains, Projection Quality, And Safe Use Of T-H Lamps Now Available For Public Review

Hello David,
Thanks for this post. We are an exhibit supplier and too are frustrated with the singular convention center who requires special types of lighting because they assume there are more risks with tungsten halogen lights. The convention center in question is Las Vegas. In my opinion, the risks are higher in vegas for anything and everything to go wrong. Two factors contribute to this fact. 1.) Exhibitors and Installers do not get enough sleep because of the draw of the city which maeans more mistakes. 2.) Las Vegas holds so many more tradeshows that more accidents will happen. I hope the standards bring a little unity to the industry in this matter. Thanks!
