Popular Multimeter Brands Ranked Worst To Best (According To Reviews)
www.slashgear.com: A multimeter is a versatile tool used primarily for measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity. Mechanics use multimeters when working on cars to ensure components are getting or producing the correct voltage and to check the continuity of wiring in the search for broken wires or poor contacts. Some multimeters include a function that allows testing batteries, so you can make sure that battery is actually dead before tossing it out.

I liked how this article compared all the different multimeter brands and showed which ones are actually worth using. Some of the cheaper ones like Kobalt or Cen Tech seem fine at first, but they just are not that accurate or built to last. They feel more like something you would use if you are just starting out or testing something small. The ones like Klein Tools and Fluke are clearly the better choice because they are solid, safe, and made for real electrical work. It made me think about how tools can say a lot about how seriously someone takes their work. If you are always going for the cheapest option, it kind of shows in the results. Spending a bit more for something that is reliable ends up saving time and frustration later, especially if you are working on something that actually matters.
