Immersive teaching model for traditional Chinese opera costume design based on virtual reality: digital cultural heritage, inheritance, and innovation
Scientific Reports: Traditional Chinese opera costumes are vital carriers of intangible cultural heritage, embodying intricate craftsmanship, symbolic aesthetics, and cultural narratives. However, conventional pedagogy struggles to convey their complexity and cultural depth due to limitations in static, lecture-based teaching methods.

This is very interesting to me, but still is clearly in its patent and R&D phase, so its going to be interesting seeing what it comes out to fully look like. I do think, if done right, this has the potential to revolutionize costume design, however, it has small room for error from what I can imagine it will look like from these patents and math problems. Lowering polys on a 3d model in a game, while yes can help its performance overall, it certainly does lower the detailing of the model, including the texturing image, so it’s going to be very interesting seeing how this is actually used in products. It’s also going to be interesting seeing how fast it can actually render the things, as right now, there are still computers that render extremely slowly and probably can't handle something as advanced as the system they are proposing. I am excited to see this moving forward.
