5 Spooky Broadway Shows for Halloween

Playbill: A blood-covered Norma Desmond and a bloodied Joe Gillis may have ridden off into the Sunset (Boulevard), but there are still plenty of Broadway productions ready to send chills up audiences' spines during the Halloween season.

I love 2 things, musicals and holidays! One of my favorite things about the holidays is matching your hobbies, interests, and favorite things to the season and holiday, like watching shows that are scary in the fall, and watching Christmas shows during Christmas, and summer shows in the summer! All of these Broadway shows are such a perfect list for anyone looking to get into the spooky season this Halloween week! Wicked is a great option if someone is looking for a good story with a high emotional impact, with a less scary aspect. Death Becomes Her and Beetlejuice a great show to watch if you are into supernatural and comedic plays. While Stranger Things and Harry Potter are shows to watch if you want to fully immerse yourself in these iconic and nostalgic television worlds, these shows use out-of-this-world effects to create the magical worlds that come to life

I love halloween so much its not even funny, since basically July I have been working on my costume and planning what I am gonna wear, it is my favorite holiday by far. This article is cool because I haven’t actually seen a single show they talk about on here but I really really wanna see Death Becomes Her and Beetlejuice. Of course the other shows listed sound interesting too but those are the coolest ones to me. I don’t fully get the connections they are making with some of these shows to Halloween but I guess thats up for us to find out when we go watch them. Seeing that this article is posted by Playbill, if my understanding of this website is correct, the connections might be a little stretched because they want people to buy tickets for these shows. I can see that the other two shows could be a little spooky, but I don’t know if I would go see those shows specifically to celebrate halloween.
