Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Are Ready for ‘Godot'

The New York Times: Keanu Reeves was deep in some narrow library stacks, wedged between biographies and Ph.D. theses, when — not for the first time that April afternoon — he started channeling one of Samuel Beckett’s most famous works. “Do you see me?” he said, standing tall with one hand outstretched and declaiming in the style of Estragon, from “Waiting for Godot.” “But do you see me?”

This article caught my attention since my dad was just telling me that he was going to see this production. My dad was also the same person who had me watch Bill and Ted a few years ago, so I find the whole situation a little ironic. I believe that Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have an incredible dynamic acting together, and I would love to see them in this show. I have never seen Waiting for Godot, but I’ve heard a lot about it and I’ve always been curious about it. I would love to see it at some point, and maybe this is my chance. I will see what my dad thinks of it, and if his and others’ reviews of it are good, I’ll probably go try and get some tickets for myself. That is, if I can even get tickets, I believe this production is probably going to be very popular if it is good, but I will try nevertheless.
