This all sounds great in theory but not in practice. Im at a bit ofa loss for reason with the initial plan that ai can synthesize works and become the analyst or instructor for people, when multiple studies have proven that ai fails to synthesize papers in an impactful way because it fails to ask questions or think critically. I can see how adobe acrobat could be useful for travel planning, however the internet can already curate plenty of travel plans for you based on its algorithm. The other day i had to use generative ai for an assignment and i tried to adobe firefly and was extremely disappointed. Adobe’s ai can be greta for retouching, but is very poor in terms of generating images that capture the mood, detail, and tone that your prompt does. Big shocker lol… adobe firefly seems to just take 4 images relevant to a prompt and mesh them together. But again who is shocked?? Lets just please use our brains.
AI aims to take over many spaces but in some cases, a human cannot be replaced. Starting with the travel portion of the article. Every person is different so the things that you will want to visit while on a trip changes from person to person. A human travel agent can work with you, using their knowledge of what people like you have enjoyed in the past to help inform the experience. An AI is less able to understand people on an individual basis. While an AI can give a generic travel plan it will always fall short in giving you something that you will truly love. Similarly AI cannot replace the creativity in designing advertisements and logos. When you ask a human artist to create graphics for your company they can not only discuss what design choices you want but also how those design choices will come across to your customer base and how best to arrange them. AI is limited in its ability to guide entrepreneurs on when their visuals and ideas might not match because AI is programmed to almost always agree with whoever it’s talking to.
