43 Shows to Participate in The Off Broadway Alliance’s 20at20
www.broadwayworld.com: A record-breaking 43 shows will participate in The Off Broadway Alliance's the Fall 2025 edition of 20at20. The promotion returns on Monday, October 20th and continues through Sunday, November 9, offering $20 tickets to participating plays and musicals when purchased at the box office 20 minutes prior to curtain.

I had no idea this was a thing and I think I love this concept. I’m always for something trying to make theater more accessible, and this is such a cool way to do that. Theater is not super affordable to go see… which sucks… because theaters need money to stay afloat, but I think that producing theater with the intention of not charging much for tickets is a lovely idea. I would love to go participate in a 20 at 20 event, this seems like such a lovely way to spend a weekend at a decent price. I’ve never had the luxury of seeing a Broadway show, or going to New York for that matter, but a huge part of that is money. Bringing the price down on these events will open up to a wider audience, who will perhaps find enough interest to be willing to invest in pricier tickets later. This is a really cool way to get a wider range of audience seeing theater.
