Photo Captures Everyone Who Helped Restore the Notre Dame
mymodernmet.com: It’s been five years since a devastating fire heavily damaged the famed Notre-Dame cathedral, and now the Parisian landmark is finally about to reopen. Tourists and locals have long been waiting for the beloved church to return to its former splendor—something that couldn't have been achieved without hundreds of workers. To truly capture all the effort that went into this project, French president Emmanuel Macron shared a photo showing all the people involved in the restoration of Notre-Dame.

I remember being in highschool watching this unfold especially because at the time my sister was studying abroad in Paris and she was sending us Live Photos of it. I thought it was an attack but learning later it was just a poor electrical incident or a cigarette is very sad how modern day interferences ruin historic buildings and landmarks. The craftsman and architects who restored the landmark were really interesting to read about because I don’t know who I thought restored historic structures but I probably could’ve deduced it wasn’t a council but I don’t know if I would’ve guessed it was a hob glob of construction concrete workers, Championd of Duty who upkeep medieval crafting methods, and painters. I think these people are doing a very high stress job because they’re altering a historic landmark in attempts to make it look untouched from its original form. I think it would be a fun job but I’m not sure where you specialize it.
