I am in Las Vegas right now for LDI and I am so excited to see all the booths. The expo is a great way for companies to show off their new technologies. And if I were someone who was in charge of what lights and technology my theater bought, I would love to be able to see everything work in person before spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on it. Even as a student with no pull, seeing all the innovation and lights is fascinating. I feel like I am learning so much about the industry just from being here. I am surrounded by other people interested in the same stuff as me. Hearing about the way all this technology works is also fascinating. Some companies have even come up with these completely new ways to engineer products. I am totally going to the Elation booth and I’m so excited to see all these lights.
