Las Vegas Sphere plans to boost profits — how much fans will pay for tickets
Entertainment: Operators of the Sphere believe they’re getting the hang of boosting profitability for the giant performance venue now that it has been open for more than a year.
Sphere Entertainment Co. has said the public can expect more events there — possibly multiple shows each day — and that one of the goals is to have something going on in the 17,000-seat venue every day of the year.

First of all, I think the marketing team at Sphere Entertainment really missed out by going with the name "The Sphere Experience" and not "The Exspherience". The Sphere Experience itself is already a pretty unique concept. It's one-of-a-kind, immersive, flexible, and it fits in perfectly at a tourist destination like Las Vegas. Their idea of having daily, rotating shows or performances makes its service comparable to that of a movie theater, which I don't think is at all a bad way for the company to shift. Most importantly, I think the versatility of their space allows them to keep coming up with original content, from sports to films to live music and everything in between. I'm excited to see whether or not the sphere in Abu Dhabi is a success. I don't think having a worldwide network of spheres is a good idea, and their proposed sphere in London fell through. While I think the sphere is a cool concept, I don't think they should be a worldwide thing.
