PICT Classic Theatre’s 25th season is perfect timing for a Shakespearean comedy
onStage Pittsburgh: In the words of Shakespearean heroine Rosalind, “Time travels in diverse paces with diverse persons.”
That’s from As You Like It, and is followed by the speed in which time flies, when it meanders and when it stops entirely.

Having rehearsed in WQED Studio B, right next door to where this show is performing, I got to speak to the production team as they were loading in and got to spend some time in this space. Ever since hearing about this, I've been looking forward to seeing it because the way that they're using the space is really neat and I like to see how people can adapt and change Shakespeare to fit their individual visions. I do wish that the article mentioned what COVID protocols would be in place for this performance instead of just briefly mentioning that there would be something in place. I think that the more theatre's put this information in their press releases and media pieces, the more comfortable audiences will be attending in person shows. I know we're all anxious to get back to live theatre but at the same time, none of us want it to be shut down again and unsafe practices could easily make that happen.
