David Arquette and others sign #AskMoreOfHim open letter ahead of Oscars.
slate.com: Ahead of the 90th Academy Awards, men in the film industry and beyond are joining a new campaign to fight sexism and sexual misconduct. David Arquette, Justin Baldoni, David Schwimmer, Don McPherson, and Matt McGorry are among the signees of an open letter in support of #AskMoreOfHim, a movement that encourages men to promote women’s rights and to help end sexual harassment and violence.

The names on this list have to start growing in large numbers in order for anything to happen. In todays media, men are tasked with the challenge of speaking up while not speaking for women or demeaning the movement in any way. They can't deny actions, they can't generalize themselves as "not offenders" or else they start receiving large amounts of push back from both the media and their female counter pats. It's Amazing to see mainstream actors like David Schwimmer signing this petition, but the last time I checked, there are plenty of men in Hollywood still, men that wear times up pins, men that care. The message of this movement is one of immense responsibility, and with the hysteria going on in the industry, its important to acknowledge that the reason this has happened so long is because we let it happen. I hope this movement doesn't fall through the cracks because it's the perfect brother movement to times up.
