I as a rule avoid trade shows and really commercial corporate shows. But I also feel like a lot of these events are getting more and more theatrical every day. This was not the case when I first started into the freelance business. It was so sterile and bland that I never had an intreat and while I was aware of the possible money that could be made, I couldn’t bring myself to dedicate my career to industry. But now I think the Idea of a corporate keynote has been sensationalized and has turned into a big show. I hadn’t considered the idea of getting back into corporate. But at this point they could be argued to be comparatively similar to award shows in size. And for me that is totally something that I am interested in. I will have to revisit the idea and consider investigating the possibility and a side career path.
