This was a cool introduction tutorial, and I was actually really looking forward to watching the rest of them before I found out that I needed to pay for access to them. That was rather disappointing, because although the part that I did see was interesting, it was stuff that I knew already. He was about to get to the more interesting stuff that I didn’t know when the video ended. It seems like a great resource for anyone going into props or sculpture, and it goes into great depth on different parts of model making as well. Unfortunately it costs money that I don’t have. The person in the video, Shannon Shea, is really cool and he knows his stuff. He worked on movies like “Jurassic Park” and “Predator”, so he has a lot of really great experience and technique to share. You can watch the first 2 minutes of all of his videos, but after doing that for two of the videos I gave up because you really don’t get much out of that. Also, I think he tried to sell me a Black and Decker drill and tool kit, so my respect for the videos just went down a little.
