City Theatre is definitely up there on my list of favorite Pittsburgh theatres. This is because they are constantly creating fresh new work that is very innovative. It is just so awesome to see and experience all of the fresh new work that is out there. There are always and will always be companies producing the old classics. And don’t get me wrong, but I love the classics as much as the next guy. However, I feel that it is really important that we have the opportunity and the exposure to work like this. As students who are studying to become the industry’s next leaders and innovators it is great that we get to see classical works, but it is truly really important that we go out and see what is currently going on in the new innovative industry that we are working in. I can’t wait to go see all of these productions in this season!
