Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: When Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre decided to do a sensory-friendly version of “The Nutcracker” in 2013, the company didn’t know what to expect. But there was no need to worry.
“We had so many phone calls and emails and letters about how meaningful it was for families, which made it easy for us to do it again this year,” says Alyssa Herzog Melby, PBT’s director of education and community engagement.
