The gala raised a record $750,000 for the Wing’s education and outreach programs. It's really heart-warming that so many people came to the gala to support Dame Angela Lansbury and then were so generous with their support of theatre.
It's so important for people to help support the theatre especially in a time where movies and the internet is so prevalent. I especially like how they are giving the money to relatively new theaters; theaters that have only been around for the past five to fifteen years.
