How long is too long?

|artsHub Australia: The Fine Music Network is counting down to Opera Australia’s staging of Wagner’s Ring Cycle at the end of the year. On this month’s episode of Countdown to the Ring, we hit the streets of Melbourne to try to gauge the public on their knowledge on Wagner and The Ring Cycle. Apart from several resounding ‘huhs?’ one of the more common responses was, ‘Wagner’s operas are just too long’.
