An All New TeuxDeux

swissmiss: It’s a big day for people like me, that like keeping lists: We just launched a brand new version of TeuxDeux – the minimal calendar based to-do app that started in 2009 over a lunch conversation between Cameron and myself. For the past 6 months, Team FictiveKin, Jonnie Hallman and myself worked hard to bring you a completely revamped, better TeuxDeux.

This is such a cool looking application. I'm such a big fan of to-do lists, the entire back section of my class notebook is filled with pages of to-do lists in order of the date. I keep running to-do lists and go back and check off goals that I wanted to complete earlier and so on and so forth. But, I do carry my phone around with me most everywhere, and to be able to have that to-do list when I'm at the art store and I can't remember all the things I need to buy or when I'm in the Strip District and I remember that I need to stop by somewhere, but I forgot where. Though this article is mostly for people who've used the application beforehand, I have not used this before, but I'm definitely looking into trying the free trial. Even if I don't end up paying for the service later, I'm always open to finding new ways to make my life more organized.

Every CMU drama student and faculty member should have this application. I know that personally, I am always confused on what i need to do between meetings, rehearsals, homework. Writing it down is always helpful but I can not take my planner with me everywhere i go so i find it useful when i can just whip my phone out and have my to-do list there ready for me. If you have the application on your computer you can also pull up your to-do list there too.

Like others have said I think this is a great application. As Chanté said people don't always have their planners with them but people always have their phones. This sync between phone and computer can make this such an easy thing. I got the free trial and definitely am going to make use of it. I think the feature allowing you go put links in the list makes it particularly useful. For example if you are grocery shopping fo \r a recipe and wanted to check ingredients the link is right there. Great app for sure!
