Mill Playhouse, the State Theatre of New Jersey and one of the best-known
regional theatres in the country, seeks a Production Coordinator.

Description:
Under the direction of the Director of
Production, Coordinator attends to a myriad of details associated with contracting,
budget tracking, production payroll and expenses and provides overall
production support. This is a full-time,
salaried position with competitive staff benefits including company health
plan.
Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to:

Execution
of contracts for Design team, Stage Management team, Music team and other artistic
team members.
·
Vet
and process IATSE crew payroll
·
Process
invoices, purchase orders, check requests, petty cash/credit card reports for Production
Department.
·
Assist
DOP with tracking budgets, vet weekly financial reports and expenses.
·
Provide
support for Stage Management and Company Management.
·
Arrange
and coordinate all rehearsal space needs and manage relationships with
rehearsal studios.
·
Arrange
and coordinate with all areas of production for production meetings.
·
With
the TD, coordinate with Education and Development departments on outside
projects and internal events as well as venue rentals.
·
Complete
special projects and assignments for the Director of Production.
This
position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or above and all candidates should have
experience in Production and/or a working knowledge of backstage processes as
well as intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with payroll, contracts and
financial software is a plus. Some long
hours including some weekends are a requirement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized
and willing to take on a variety of challenges, possess excellent communication
skills, have the ability to work with a wide range of personalities and be
sensitive and diplomatic in delicate situations.
