IATSE Starts Relief Fund to Help After Hurricane Sandy
Stage Directions: IATSE is chipping in to help IATSE members who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. On Monday, Nov. 5, IA President Matthew D. Loeb announced that the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation will provide financial assistance to IATSE members and their families suffering serious financial hardship as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The IA donated $10,000 to the Foundation to start the fundraising campaign to finance the assistance, and asks locals and union members across the country to contribute. Union members needing assistance should submit a written request to their local union office, which will forward it on.
