Quantum scores with operatic ‘Ainadamar'

TribLIVE: The world of Osvaldo Golijov’s “Ainadamar” exists somewhere between past and present, fact and fable, memory and reality. When this 80-minute opera debuted in 2003, Alex Ross, the music critic for The New Yorker magazine, aptly described it as “a surreally extended moment, a long blink of the eye.”
