Pittsburgh Ballet's 'Streetcar Named Desire' promises an emotional ride

This is really interesting. I've always liked A Streetcar Named Desire, but have absolutely no idea how it would translate into ballet. It's exciting that the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is the first company to preform this show in the United States. The article says it's not a direct translation of the play, and the entire point of view is shifted more to Blanche. I'd be interested to see what the writing and choreographing process was like, as they found the best moments for acting and the best moments for dance, and combined them to show emotion and character depth, and (hopefully) create a great story.
