Is Pittsburgh the new Hollywood?
popcitymedia: Is Pittsburgh the Hollywood of the east? With the new film partnerships--the Entertainment Technology Center and Knight Vision Studios--at 31st Studios, not to mention tax incentives and a growing talent pool, the buzz is only growing.

Let's hope so!! I have completely fallen under Pittsburgh's spell in the seven months spent at CMU. I can very much see why this city could become the new Hollywood. Pittsburgh offers cityscape right next to parks and the small town feel of Oakland next to the gorgeous architecture of the past. The tax cut offered by using this location for filming doesn't seem like too bad a deal either.
