Cirque du Soleil's 'Mystere' never disappoints
ReviewJournal.com: Cirque du Soleil will be making a push to advertise what's new about "Mystere," but the show's real strengths are still the things that aren't. When Cirque had to close "Zed" in Japan last year, it made room for two of the acts to land in "Mystere," the oldest of the company's seven Las Vegas titles -- and coincidentally, one that now has a separate landlord at Treasure Island, which is not concerned with the inter-casino priorities of MGM Mirage.

Having seen Mystere, I am excited about the new changes to the show. On a tour of the space I remember being told that Mystere is the heart of Cirque du Soleil. It is the circus-style feats, but bigger. The article does not really talk about that aspect, but the title and a few lines hint at this. The article talks about the specific clown interludes which differentiate Mystere from the traveling shows (along with the Vegas-sized everything) but this show really is a Cirque staple and the foundation of their success; two new acts do not change that.
