CPR


CMU EMS is offering two courses in the next two weeks that may be relevant to the School of Drama.  Minimum enrollment for the classes is
4 students.
 
First Aid

A standard first aid course covering a wide range of topics including emergency recognition, bleeding control, splinting, shock, burns, heat stroke, and allergic reactions.  This course is recommended for anyone who is likely to come across major or minor emergencies.  Through hands-on exercises and practice, students will learn the skills necessary to effectively render aid in the case of an emergency.
Enrollment will be limited to the School of Drama and "what if?"
questions are encouraged.

Time: Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 PM
Location: Gates-Hillman Center 5222
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $15 (cash or check)
 
Heartsaver CPR

The Heartsaver CPR course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking, and the use of barrier devices in adults and children. Participants receive a certification card after successfully completing a practical exam.
This course is perfect for anyone who works in a group setting or is looking for basic CPR skills.

Time: Saturday, January 22nd at 2:00 PM
Location: Gates-Hillman Center 5222
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $25 (cash or check)
