This is a really interesting article. It's a really enlightening broadcast that happened and changed some of the ways that i perceive Chinese Pop Culture. It's interesting to hear from americans over there how people go outta there way to find information and news from outside of the Government approved material.

It's also interesting listening to a white rapper, rapping in mandarin over in china. Listening to them talk about foreign artists in china is pretty cool and I would recommend this broadcast be listened to by everyone who wants to know more about Chinese artistic culture.

I also find this interesting. I could not imagine living in a place where the arts were censored so extremely. I love the fact that these artists are calling the people who get around the firewalls creative, because this depicts them in such a way that shows them being creative in response to being denied access to creative materials. It just shows that people are inherently creative and that we thrive on this creativity. It is also cool to see the way that the artists involved in this article are getting involved in the arts in different countries. I don't really know much about Chinese pop culture, but, after reading this article, I'd love to learn more about it. Sometimes we get so stuck in the ways of our country; it's important to realize that we have much to learn from all of the world's artists.
