Arts organizations jump in 'Ring'
Variety: "L.A. Opera will join forces with more than 50 cultural and educational institutions in Los Angeles to stage Ring Festival L.A. in 2010 in connection with the presentation of Wagner’s the 'Ring' cycle."

Being from Los Angeles, I can say that I am esp. proud of the artistic collaboration for "Ring". Los Angeles arts has its own particular flavor and this collaboration will surely bring out some interesting facets of that identity. I am curious to see what the Getty brings to the table in this collaboration. The foundation is loaded and will certainly be a critical backbone for the project.
