it's nice to think about how things used to be done in the past and how much our technology has evolved. on the flip side, it's quite scary to comprehend the daily use of ancient tools and tricks. imagine, hanging an entire light plot with candles and mirrors. sure, there's got to be a ton of old stagehand tricks to make it easy and "safe", but nowadays it'd be impossible
