Foot Injury Gives Understudy His Chance at Broadway Stardom
Bloomberg.com: Arts and Culture: "Late yesterday, the Roundabout Theatre Co. plucked the 27- year-old performer from obscurity, casting him in the leading role of a revival of the 1940 Rodgers and Hart musical “Pal Joey.” Risch had understudied 40-year-old Christian Hoff, who withdrew because of a foot injury suffered onstage at a Nov. 21 preview, the Roundabout said in a statement."
