Properties Master – Active LORT C theatre 40 minutes from Manhattan seeks qualified carpenter and artisan for 5 show/ 2 educational touring company season. Must have excellent skills in a wide variety of disciplines including: carpentry, furniture building and upholstering, metal-work, casting, foams and plastics, soft-goods, and crafts. Responsibilities also include: supervision of shop and an assistant, maintenance and tracking of departmental budgets, supervision and participation in all load-ins, techs, and load-outs, maintaining and upkeep of all show properties during the run of a show. Pleasant disposition helpful. At least 3 years professional experience. Season runs from mid August through April. Salary based on experience. Benefits available.
