OH my! I cant even imagine the kind of structure this would need to have. It must be so demanding on the performers as well as the design and production team. The kind of organization you would need is unreal. It is certainly an ambitious project, one that will gather a lot of attention. Lots of people at cmu have wanted to see a history play being done; we should all go and see this. Please.
I think that's really amazing that the Royal Shakespeare Company is trying to pull this off- it seems like the kind of production you would remember working on for years (either because it turned out so well or because it was a complete disaster). I wonder how the staging works in terms of lighting and set- they did talk about the actors and the costumes, but are they overlapping the sets and light plots as well? It seems like a logistical nightmare.
