Live Design: "For the third time since 2002, J. R. Clancy, Inc. has been recertified for the international quality standard ISO 9001:2000. J. R. Clancy is the only rigging company in the American technical theatre industry to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification."

It's important that more companies try to stay up to international standards. I know as a customer I just feel better knowing that a product or service has met at least a minimum level of quality. The problem becomes that then people only turn to the few people that have met such a standard making them a monopoly essentially by buying their way in (this is with me assuming it costs money to become certified).
