Wooster Group, Baryshnikov Arts Center
New York Times: "The Wooster Group, the acclaimed experimental theater group, will be the resident company in a new theater in Mikhail Baryshnikov’s arts center in Manhattan, the dancer and choreographer said yesterday."

It's nice to know that experimental theater is finding a way to survive while support for the arts is losing to support for technology every day. The Wooster Group was the inspiration for The Eumenides of THE ORESTEIA PROJECT. The research videos shown in rehearsal were by far some of the craziest theater I have ever seen, and it's nice to know that groups like Wooster Group are still alive and kicking. I hope their new space and production arrangement is a good fit for the style of theater they do.
