We have been given tons of helpful tips this past month in prioritizing and time-management. However, I feel this single piece of advice takes the cake. Everyone has always expressed, "it's all about starting your day off right." One of the most helpful ways in creating a productive work day is eliminating the ultimate factor that can slow it down from the start. It's a troublesome task in my opinion, however over time I am really beginning to enjoy the rewards of getting tasks done EARLY.
I love the idea of doing something productive to start off the morning, because so often it gets to 6pm and I find myself unmotivated to do my work simply because I feel so worthless about the rest of my day. However, accomplishing something before the day even begins gives you a happy memory to think of in hopes of accomplishing something else at some point in your life.
Recently, I have been experimenting with new ways to get myself organized and prioritized and I think I have finally been taught one that works. This is beyond exciting for me! It just goes to show that you need to find the right one for your personality and lifestyle so that the organization doesn't become more of a pain than the work itself.
