Interestingly enough, I was talking about this with a friend of mine recently. I think this is a great career move for Radcliffe because of the immense popularity of the Harry Potter movies, which only seem to become more and more of a big deal. It's important not to corner yourself into a role and I think that's what Radcliffe is doing by performing in Equus in addition to working on projects he would like to work on to improve his craft. "Castanza Syndrome" as many call it is a hard thing to avoid when a role is so well played and I think Radcliffe is in a good place to fight it and win.

Besides, seeing Harry Potter naked seems to be working very well for ticket sales.
