New Works Festival hits marks in Week 1
post gazette: "Short can be an advantage: Shorter is better, we say. But not always, not in theater. One-act plays often suffer from insubstantiality, as if the tightness of the form prohibited tackling something significant or incompleteness, as in, 'where's Act 2?' The result is often just an extended scene."

I always like reading reviews that have a lot of positive things to say about the production. For some reason I get a little nervous reading bad critiques because I worry about how those being slandered are feeling. Weird, I know. But the Chris and Alex show sounds really fun. I like plays that require the audience to think, as long as it is done in a comical way and isn’t too long. It almost reminds me of a production of Sheer Madness for some reason. I’m glad to heat that the new works are going well!
