Being known for two roles is just loverly for 'Fair Lady' Howes
PostGazette: "Some performers go through their whole careers identified mainly with one role, some with many, but for Sally Ann Howes, there are two. In theater, she's famed for being the first to follow Julie Andrews as Eliza Doolittle in 'My Fair Lady' on Broadway, back in 1958. And she's known to a larger audience as Truly Scrumptious, the English beauty who galvanizes the heart of Dick Van Dyke in the 1968 movie 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.'"

its great to see an actress who is known for her talent more so than her personal life, sure both offer material for the other and influence one another but in the long run ms. howes has made a great and strongly upheld name for herself in the entertainment world... very impressive if you consider the changing mediums and trends... better with age if i must say.
it's amazing to see a strong woman finding and maintaining a career in theatre. It's especially hard for actresses, when they reach a certain age, to maintain that career that they had. Also, it must be a joy to revisit a piece that had once been so much fun to work on and to look at it from another character's perspective.
