Eugene Lee has had and is still in the middle of such a remarkable career it's funny that he is being recognized for his achievement in the same theatre as some of his larger successes have been in. Its also interesting to say he's old school because the way he works, by sketching things out, is how I think one should work in a field like scenic design. Also I found it interesting to see how he is very into the itness of the thing which is something which is stressed in design.

I highly doubt that Brown is considering having a bachelor degree in scenic design. It's an Ivy League school, although it's the weakest school. Having scenic design would mean that they would need to have a conservatory school, and that would not likely happen. Anyways, It's good to have some publicity for school. And how is it possible to have two BFA degree in CMU and UChic without finishing the school? Hm...

It is interesting to see that Lee is all over the radar in terms of scenic designing. He does work for SNL, broadway, fringe festivals.. it is crazy. His skills must be amazingly versatile to be able to effectively handle such a wide range. Maybe he'll decide to design his own boat next time. I can see the name already.. C.N.K. Lee

I am glad to hear that Eugene Lee still drafts by hand. I am terrified of computers/technology. Mainly because I don't understand it. And I am a very slow person when it comes to learning how to work anything like AutoCAD. So I am pretty sure that I will be starting out all of my designs the same way as Eugene Lee.....drafting by hand. Hopefully Boevers can change how retarded I am when it comes to computers.
