Donna Lynn Champlin
Wilkommen zu Cabaret!
Donna Lynne Champlin ('93) will be in residence at Carnegie Mellon University THIS WEEK, arriving Thursday January 25th and departing Sunday, January 28th.
A few of Donna Lynne's Broadway Credits include the recent Revival of SWEENEY TODD (Pirelli), HOLLYWOOD ARMS (played Carol Burnett's daughter),
James Joyce's THE DEAD and Lloyd Weber's BY JEEVES. A multi-faceted
performer, she is a true "triple threat", and has recorded on several Albums and Original Soundtracks.
Her Cabaret FINISHING THE HAT is garnering rave reviews in NYC, and I'm happy to announce that she will present that Show on Friday and Saturday of this Week (the 26th and 27th) downtown at the CLO Cabaret Theater on Penn
Ave, across from Heinz Hall. Both evenings will begin at 10:00 p.m.
There's an $8.00 fee, which can be applied to your food/drink tab if you wish.
It's a real Cabaret, with little round tables and waiters serving Food and
Drink (bring some cash). We hope to pack the Theater with CMU Folks who
love our Alums! All are warmly welcome to this entertaining and touching
Show presented by one of our own!
IN addition to performing her Show, Donna will be presenting some Master
Classes here in the Purnell, on Thursday and Friday. Do look for her, and
stop in and say Hello.

I wish I could see the cabaret. It sounds amazing. Damn Alcina.
I can't even go to the Q&A on Friday...I have class. Boo. Someone else is going to need to bring the chair down.
I find the Q&A sessions so fascinating, even when they're with performers and my career likely won't mirror theirs in the slightest.
